  • ★ ★ ★ ★★
"Before I started therapy with Anastasiya, I kept finding myself in the same painful relationship patterns — feeling not seen, not valued, and afraid to open up again. I didn’t understand why it kept happening. Anastasiya helped me look at the deeper emotional wounds behind those patterns. With her warmth and empathy, I finally started to see where my fears came from and how to trust myself again. Her sessions helped me rebuild confidence, understand my needs, and believe that I deserve a healthy, loving connection."
Veronika (the name has been changed for confidentiality reasons)
    ★ ★ ★ ★★
"I came to therapy because my anger was getting out of control — I was snapping at people I cared about and feeling guilty afterwards. I didn’t want to be “that person” anymore. Anastasiya helped me understand what was really behind my anger — the hurt, fear, and stress that I’d been carrying for years. She taught me how to calm my body, recognise triggers, and respond differently. What I love most is that she never made me feel ashamed. She helped me see anger as a message, not a flaw. Now I handle conflicts more calmly, and my relationships have become so much more peaceful. I can’t thank her enough for her patience and kindness."
John (the name has been changed for confidentiality reasons)
    ★ ★ ★ ★★
"I was struggling with constant tension and arguments with my teenage kids. I felt helpless, angry, and guilty — like I was failing as a parent. A friend recommended Anastasiya, and I’m so glad I reached out.In therapy, she helped me slow down, listen differently, and understand what my children were actually trying to express. I learned how to regulate my own emotions first, so I could respond instead of react. Our home feels lighter now. There’s more laughter, more calm, and more connection. Anastasiya gave me the tools and the courage to rebuild those relationships with love and patience. I’m deeply grateful."

Frequently asked questions

Who do you work with?
I provide one-on-one and couples counselling for adults, offering support in areas such as relationship issues, emotional regulation, trauma, life transitions , identity challenges, and general wellbeing. My approach is warm, inclusive and draws on my own journey of change and growth.
What happens in my first session?
In our first session we will take some time to get to know each other: your story, what brought you here, what your hopes are. We’ll explore what feels important to you, your goals, values, and I’ll explain how I work. You don’t need to prepare anything; just come as you are.
How long are sessions and how often will we meet?
A standard individual session is 50 minutes. For couples work I offer 80 minutes sessions. We’ll talk together about session frequency-often weekly or fortnightly. Frequency and duration of counselling sessions depend on individual needs.
How many sessions will I need?
There’s no one-size-fits-all answer. It very much depends on your unique situation, your goals, the issues you’re working on, and your availability. Some clients notice positive change in a few sessions (short term therapy); others continue for longer to work on deeper issues (medium and long term therapy). I’ll review with you regularly to make sure our work is relevant and effective.
What if I don’t feel like I’m the right fit with you?
It’s important you feel comfortable and safe with your counsellor. If, after a few sessions, you feel the fit isn’t right (for whatever reason), we will discuss what’s going on together. We can explore whether another counsellor might better suit you, or whether adjusting approach might help. Changing practitioners does not mean failure - it means you’re seeking the best out of the therapy.
Is my information confidential?
Yes. What you tell me in sessions remains confidential. There are a few legal/ethical exceptions (for example: if I believe you or someone else is at serious risk of harm; if there’s suspected abuse of a child/older person; or a court order). I’ll explain confidentiality in more detail in our first session so you know your rights and how your information will be handled.
